ArchStone Company History and Contacts ArchStone is a subsidiary of SCI Group, a company founded in May, 1989 focused on products and services specifically for the Stratus fault-tolerant platform.In December, 2002, the board members of SCI Group, authorized formation of the ArchStone subsidiary. The formation of ArchStone represents a major expansion effort within SCI Group to grow our business beyond the Stratus base into a consulting and integration company focused on providing applications software and services to the Retail, Banking, and Pharmacy sectors. Today, ArchStone provides tools and services to support transaction processing and e-commerce applications in our target markets. In August, 2003 we announced an agreement with Mosaic Software, who offer a Windows-based e-Payments software package. ArchStone works with Mosaic Software to integrate their product with existing ATM/POS/EFT architectures. Our partnership with Mosaic represents the first of many such agreements ArchStone intends to pursue to offer our customers more complete solutions. ArchStone Management
Ron D. Hewitt, President of ArchStone, has over twenty-five years experience with executive and technology management. Ron currently serves as President & Chairman of SCI Group, Inc., the leading provider of Operational Management systems and services for continuous processing clients customer worldwide. Before joining SCI Group in 1989, he served as President of Municipal Systems, Inc. providing governmental software solutions to cities and counties in the US. Ron received his education from Louisiana State University, majoring in Political Science and English.
Rick Walters, VP Technical Services, has over 20 years of experience with technology solutions for various aspects of the retail and retail drug industries. Over the years, he has designed, enhanced, and maintained online transaction processing systems for many large retailers in the Unites States. Rick is also involved with setting industry wide pharmacy telecommunications standards through his membership in the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP).
